IB PYP UNIT OF INQUIRY WHO WE ARE: BELIEFS & VALUES
This is IB PYP transdisciplinary unit of inquiry, is investigating the theme of Who We Are and the concepts of beliefs and values, influence and behaviour and how they shape our lives. With over 120 pages of hands on inquiry-based activities and concept-based learning experiences, you will find everything you need for a complete unit of inquiry, saving you time with these ready-made templates and planned lesson suggestions.
Reading material includes non-fiction articles covering 7 major world religions, fact vs. opinion, news articles investigating the media influence and more. UK & USA spelling included.
With on-going reflection and assessment provided, the children are able to monitor and record their learning as they progress throughout the inquiry. The learning experiences are skills-based and concept-based, offering suggestions as to how you could use the materials and resources created. Everything is aligned with the IB PYP phases 3 & 4 or grades 4 and 5 with differentiated resources where necessary.
Central idea: Beliefs and values are central to peoples lives, shaping decisions and actions.
