Creative Thinking Skills Task Cards
Creative Thinking Skills Task Cards
Within the IB PYP, we are always looking to provide implicit practice of the sub-skills within the Approaches to Learning Skills. These creative thinking skills task cards are highly engaging, with fun inquiry-based tasks that cover a multitude of creative thinking skills and are designed with concept-based themes for most of the task cards. ( examples: peace, conflict, responsibility, beliefs and values, culture, expression, organization, sustainability, impact etc. )
The printable and digital resources provide flexibility, saving you time and offering options for implementing the activities. You will find these are best suited for grades 3-5. U.K. and USA spelling included.
The children are asked to think, discuss and create through words, pictures, diagrams. They will integrate their prior knowledge of number, language and research skills in order to complete the tasks.
You will find 32 task cards plus recording sheet and 9 larger class task cards, easy to use as whole class explicit lessons for the ATL skills or as small group tasks. The digital file provides a recording slide for each set of 4 task cards plus the 9 larger cards.
As you are developing conceptual and creative thinkers, these cards are also great for peer-assessment activities. Win-win!
