Approaches to Learning Skills Bingo for Little Kids
Approaches to Learning Skills Bingo for Little Kids
A digital and printable, fun and engaging IB PYP resource for bringing the Approaches to Learning Skills into focus for little kids and illustrating what taking action can look like for little kids. These bingo boards can be used as a month long task, for a longer focus of an skill or by selecting a few activities for the children to take action over a shorter period of time. All activities are demonstrating the Approaches to Learning Skills. You have a digital version and a printable version.
The children can pick and choose from the bingo board, giving them a say in the activities that they select OR you can have them work on it all month long, to complete as many of the tasks on the board, as possible. This is such a wonderful way to bring awareness to little children of what the skills LOOK-SOUND-ACT-FEEL like. Designed for grades K-3. Includes options with Risk-taker/Courageous & Thinker/Global thinker.
You will find a bingo board for each of the IB PYP ATL Skills plus an editable, blank template. You can use this blank one in any way you wish. I have used it to allow the children to select their own skills and then to add their own tasks to the board, that demonstrate their chosen attribute in action. It can also be used as a form of taking action. The tasks are, in effect, asking the children to take action through the lenses of BE-SAY-DO-HAVE & FEEL.
This PYP teaching tools saves you time! Just print and go or upload to your online platform. Send the PDF home with the children to complete from home, with parent participation.

You will also LOVE the Year Long Reflection Journal for Early Years and/or for Little Kids. Each journal comes in both digital and printable versions. Look at what other teachers are saying about them:
“ This was an amazing resource that allowed me to get to know my students better. I could see how they progressed through their ATL Skills and their Learner Profile. I will be using this next year, again. “ Nathalie.
“If you teach lower level IB classes, this is a great resource! Great activities to introduce to the learner profile and they have a journal to look back and reference when they need reminding of one.” Allison.
